Dear shareholders, partners and colleagues,

As a summary of the Company’s FY2022financial year 2022 performance, it should be noted that Rosseti Ural successfully coped with the set tasks. High professionalism of the employees allowed the fulfilment of our large-scale repair, maintenance and investment programs, connection-related liabilities and enhanced efficiency of our client service.

In 2022, the Company received 52.0+ thousand applications for technological connection. The quantity of executed contracts in 2022 exceeded 27.0 thousand, providing capacity of 657 MWmegawatt. New multi-apartment buildings, schools, kindergartens, business, industrial and social facilities are among them. Discharging its liabilities, Rosseti Ural facilitates the implementation of the federal projects (“Public health”, “Education”, “Urban Environment”) in the Middle and South Urals and Kama region.

The launch of new generation 110 kV Novokoltsovskaya substation became a milestone event for the Company. The substation provides the infrastructure of the International Student Sports Festival to be conducted in Yekaterinburg in 2023 (the year when Yekaterinburg celebrates its 300th anniversary), with a reliable electricity supply. All technological processes of the facility have automation and remote control. All the mounted equipment was produced in Russia. Besides the substation, the Company constructed over 30 kilometers of new aerial and cable power lines and distribution network in the Novokoltovsky District.

Due to cooperation with the authorities and business circles our Company shall provide electricity supply to the campus facilities of Urals Federal University’s Digital Transformation Center. The project designed for the development of human resources, youth support and strengthening of science base is vital for the Sverdlovsk region and whole country.

Rosseti Ural fulfilled its connection liabilities towards almost 200 small and medium-size businesses, incl. new agricultural facilities. Average term for connection of SMB facilities to the networks in 2022 totaled 90 days. As for large industrial and logistics facilities, the Company discharged its connection liabilities towards largest mining, metallurgy and chemical industry companies.

A significant progress was also made in improving client services, with time for response to customer complaints reduced and online communications and consultative services on connection and metering actively developing. The Company also actively offers a wide range of additional services, providing revenues of RUBruble 1.7+ billion. In 2022, Rosseti Ural helped to solve requests of 503+ thousand customers, with interactive channels remaining the most popular ones.

Despite the challenges, the Company continues its evolution, meeting the highest standards of social responsibility, industrial safety and corporate governance.

We operate in the regions, strategically vital for the country. The industrial complex of the Urals region is one of the country’s most heavy-duty ones. This is a territory with high growth rates of social sphere and business, sustainable production structure and high population density. In this context, development of the grids and reliability of energy facilities remain strategically important for Rosseti Ural.

A new macroeconomic reality poses challenges for the Company, but it can be confidently stated that the Company shall achieve all the targets.

Kind regards,

General Director,

А.М. Pyatigor
